Info: | 11 years of their latest album,
Brazilian voodoo-industrial-goth band Pecadores returns with a
controversial, mockery, malefic and funny new album! Pecadores is a
cult band from Brazil which makes a peculiar mixing of Brazilian
percussion with electro sequencers and noise guitars, sounding heavy
and unique. On the new album, the band collaborates with acclaimed
Brazilian musician and producer and keyboard player with many black
metal acts in Brasil: Fernando Nahtaivel (NAHTAIVEL). NAHTAIVEL did a
great job, adding more dark atmospheres to the sound and mixing the
dirty guitars with electronics in a perfect balance. Brasil is a very
religious country, and one is for sure: after what Pecadores (= the
sinners) did on this new album, all members will be sent to hell! Apart of 8 new songs, we also get 3 instrumental tracks: “Maestro” (dedicated do Ennio Morricone), “VelhoAmigo Seudiabo” (a very bizarre apostle from evangelic church) and “O Culto” (where a mad apostle found devil influences by playing nintendo games…). The new songs on the album (including 2 singles with videos, see below) bring us the pentecostal church, that if famous for fighting with other churches about who takes more money by using your credit card… and other hilarious, and very ‘unholy’ and blasphemic issues… Also included are two outstanding cover songs: HAVA NAGILA (an old jewish song) and a Brazilian Version of “Gottes Tod” (DAS ICH), for which the band only uses the melody, while the lyrics are a tribute and hymn for all goth people in Brazil! And last but not least: The band also recorded an all new version, in a more cyber-punk way, of one of their most famous tracks: “PENITÊNCIA” (from their classic album "10% for Jesus" from 2007) – a version that will for sure become a dancefloor hit. |
