| Info: | Aspect Noir are a three-piece, female fronted deathrock
/ postpunk band from Finland. They started in the midst of the lockdown
in early 2020 when there was suddenly time for new projects - although
the idea for a goth band had been simmering for a long time. The band
members themselves have a history in the goth and punk scene as regular
party goes and musicians which can clearly be heard in their music. Their debut album Chaos Reigns contains echoes of the classic melancholic sounds of the 80's and 90's goth, deathrock and darkwave, seasoned with pulsating synths and drum machine. Even with the tone varying from song to song their sound stays recognizable. As a matter of principle Aspect Noir do not try to reinvent the wheel, though not to limit themselves as “classic goth rock”. All influences are welcome. Chaos Reigns is a hymn to 80s guitars sound! |
